人的身体的残缺不算苦，

人性的残缺才是真正的苦。

Having a deformed body is not real suffering. 

Real suffering is being deformed in mind and character.

凡是有事就有烦恼，

若要做事，就必须先下决心，

绝对不怕烦恼。

When there are problems with common events, there is affliction. 

If one wants to act, then one must first have true resolution, 

so that one will not fear afflictions.

人要相信自己，

但是不可以执著。

Believe in yourself, 

but do not be attached to your own point of view.

人多迷於寻找奇迹，因而停滞不进。

Many people are obsessed by supernatural events 

to the point of being held up and unable to go on in life.
