Changu Narayan Temple,昌古納拉揚神廟 ,Nepal
昌古納拉揚神廟距離加德滿都22公里的一座小山頂上最初建於西元4世紀 後來毀於火災
1702年得以重建
也因為寺廟內的部份石雕是李查維時期(4~9世紀)的作品
所以這座寺廟已被聯合國教科文組織列為世界文化遺產
Changu Narayan Temple, the oldest temple in Kathmandu valley came in existence in 4th century. The temple is adorned by some of the best specimen of stone, wood, and metal craft in the valley. The temple stands as the epitome of culture, religion, history and faith of the Kathmandu valley.

Rani Pokhari, 拉尼普卡利, Ktm, Nepal
拉尼普卡利,四週是用巨大的柵欄圍起
這水池是普拉達普。馬拉國王在1667年修建的
用來安慰他剛剛喪子（被大象踐踏而死）的王后
這座水池在馬拉王朝時期曾被用於檢驗神明的裁決
後來這裏成了自殺區
可能是因為這裏的自殺比率過高
所以整個水池只在每年的神牲節開放一天.
Rani Pokhari,
This large fenced tank is said to have been built by King Pratap Malla in 1667 to console his queen over the death of their son (who was trampled by an elephant). The pool ( pokhari means pool or small lake) was apparently used during the Malla era for trials by ordeal and later became a favourite suicide spot.
Perhaps because of the high suicide rate, the gate to the tank and its central Shiva Temple is unlocked only one day each year, during the festival of Tihar.
